Sheriff Newell Normand reports, on July 22, 2010, shortly before 11:30 pm, our 911 Center received a report of gun shots in the 1400 block of Utah Beach Drive in Bridge City. 

Responding officers located the body of a black male victim lying on the ground in front of 1440 Utah Beach Drive suffering from multiple gun shot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.    

The victim's identity is being with held pending next of kin notification.
