INCIDIENT on Long Branch Dr (11-16-08)
Hey danny, I am sorry that i am just able to tell you about this. On sunday night we had someone ring our door bell and then run to the back of our house. We thought that it was just kids, but my daughter went to the door first, and when my husband got to the door he saw the man run to the back of the house. He grabed the kids and put them in our bedroom and then got his gun and went out side. Our side gate was pulled open and the garbage cans that were up against the fence was moved. We think that my 4yrold scared him and he jumped the fence. We did not get a good look to identify him but we did call the cops and they sent out a patrol car out. I hope that this was not an attempted robbie. Can we not get some type of security cameras at the front of the neightborhood at the least or a few on each street? I have talked to several of my neightbors and they all agree to come up with some type of funds or higher dues to help out with this. What do you think? We have to do something back here!!! Thanks, Lacie T. Longbranch Dr.

Viola Reports:
Drains on Bent Tree Drive
Hi Gene & Roy, I just need an answer on the following question that we have been receiving a ton of complaints on regarding the drains being closed on Bent Tree Dr. The street flooded every time it rains either light or heavy rain. Can you please find out what is the hold up on the opening of the drains and the lights? Thank you for your time and I look forward to your response.

Our History:
The Bent Tree Estates Civic Association was founded in 2001 to preserve the Bent Tree neighborhood for high quality residential use and to protect the unique heritage of the area. The Association carries out the these responsibilities by exercising vigilance in zoning matters, maintaining liaison with local governing bodies, informing the citizens of community problems, and promoting the general welfare of the community for the enjoyment of its residents today and in the future.

The B.T.E.C.A. hold quarterly scheduled Board Meetings which are open to the public. These meetings serve as an opportunity to both hear, and to be heard about important issues facing the community. In attendance are the B.T.E.C.A. officers, the various standing, special, and invited speakers, and members of the general public.

Members of the Bent Tree community seeking assistance from the B.T.E.C.A., or who would like to bring an issue to the B.T.E.C.A.’s attention, are encouraged to contact the president of the association. The president can assist in gathering the necessary information and resources available from the B.T.E.C.A. with which to initiate action.

The B.T.E.C.A. is organized with a governing board, and Standing Committees. Special committees are formed and dissolved as they are needed to address specific issues before the community. The Bent Tree Estates Civic Association is a “Non Profit” organization, and is 100% dependent on volunteers. Your assistance will always be appreciated, and the first way to show your support is to become a member.
